What is MANSA, and what do they do?

MANSA was formed in August 2024 by Mouloukou Sanoh and Nkiru Uwaje to tackle liquidity challenges for payment companies worldwide. Its stablecoin-based solution gives payment providers in new and old markets an adjustable and secure way to conduct liquidity challenges in cross-border payments.

The companies big payment companies across Africa, Asia, and South America have helped Mansa gain notoriety. These strategic affiliations have added to the expansion of its instant liquidity solutions, leading to $27 million in transaction volume thus far and nearly $11 million in on-chain transaction volume in January, a 574% expansion from August 2024.

$10 Million fund

The recent fund will be used in MANSA’s strategic plan to grow into Latin America and Southeast Asia – regions where liquidity challenges prevent cross-border transactions. The company hopes to increase its audience and influence by warranting quicker, more affordable payment solutions through scaling its liquidity infrastructure and creating strategic partnerships.

“MANSA addresses a fundamental liquidity challenge in cross-border payments, leveraging stablecoins to create more efficient and accessible financial rails. TRIVE Digital backs visionary founders building the future of Web3, and we are excited to support the MANSA team as they drive transformative impact in the global payments industry.” Shawn Tan, General Partner, TRIVE Digital, said.
