Rich Paul, Klutch Sports Group founder and longtime agent to LeBron James, has invested in Homecoming, a new media company founded by Paul Rivera, a former executive at Nike and Beats by Dre.
Homecoming Nework will center its efforts on video podcasts, aiming to become a hub for conversations at the intersection of sports, business, and culture. Its other investors include The Matthew Pritzker Company, Forbes Family Sports and Entertainment LLC, and Heights LLC executives, who have all declined to share financial terms, according to Bloomberg.
Merging Sports, Culture, and Storytelling
A longtime friend of LeBron James, Paul Rivera co-created and co-hosts the Emmy-winning series The Shop, which features candid conversations between James, Maverick Carter, and prominent figures from across culture and entertainment. In 2024, he released a companion book, The Shop: Where Culture Shapes Up.
He is also the Chief Marketing Officer at The SpringHill Company, the media powerhouse that merges SpringHill Entertainment, UNINTERRUPTED, and The Robot Company, all founded by LeBron James and Maverick Carter. Rivera also served as The Robot Company’s co-founder and president.
Before joining SpringHill, Rivera held senior leadership roles at Dime Magazine, Nike Basketball, and Beats by Dre. At Nike, he served as Global Director for the LeBron James brand, and at Beats, he played a key role in establishing the brand as a global leader in sports and entertainment.
Backed by Rich Paul
Rich Paul founded Klutch Sports in 2012. Under Paul’s leadership, KLUTCH has become a powerhouse in the sports industry, representing top-tier athletes, including LeBron James. The group has also been pivotal in bridging connections between teams, leagues, and global brands.
Paul’s expertise extends beyond sports; he is a United Talent Agency and Live Nation board member. His role will involve working alongside Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev to explore new avenues for sports and entrepreneurship partnerships.
“There’s never been a better time to back a platform that brings authenticity and access together. I believe in what PR is doing with Homecoming — creating space for culture to speak for itself,” Paul said of his investment.
