Gran Coramino Tequila, the premium tequila brand co-founded by Kevin Hart and Juan Domingo Beckmann, has disbursed over $1 million in grants to Black and Latine entrepreneurs across the United States to date.
The Coramino Fund
Since its inception in 2022, Gran Coramino has dedicated a portion of its sales to the betterment of underrepresented business owners, committing $1 from every bottle sold to this cause.
The Coramino Fund, established in partnership with the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), has now dispersed over $1 million in grants.
This funding has reached over 100 entrepreneurs, providing them with $10,000 grants to help enhance their businesses.
The recipients come from a variety of sectors, including retail, food services, and education.
In the latest round of funding, 50 businesses were selected. Over half (52%) are Black-owned, 36% are Latine-owned and 66% are women-owned businesses.
“As an entrepreneur myself, I’ve seen how early financial support can impact the long-term success of the business,” said Hart.
“The Coramino Fund was created to provide support to some of the hardest working people out there – entrepreneurs and small business owners.”
