Black-Owned Podcast Platform Launches Black Creative Hub With Riverside.FM

Published:

The ALIVE Podcast Network and Riverside.FM have partnered to launch the Riverside Black Creative HUB – Powered by ALIVE.

Drawing on the expertise of both companies, the new platform aims to empower Black creatives to form a community and innovate.

The home of Black voices

The ALIVE Podcast Network is the first Black-woman-owned podcast network to build its own tech stack with production, distribution, and training to help Black podcast creators monetize, amplify and maintain ownership of their content.

“ALIVE is to Podcasting what Tyler Perry Studios is for film and television,” founder Angel N. Livas told Empower Magazine. “ALIVE is the home of Black voices, where community, culture and creatives live.”

“By that I mean we’ve created a space for Black creatives to thrive in the media space by way of building a proprietary tech stack to ensure that individuals can support both the creatives they love.”

The ALIVE Podcast Network’s app features podcasts across several genres as well as functions for listeners to share episode clips with each other and communicate with hosts directly.

Connecting Black Creatives

The new collaboration with remote recording platform Riverside.FM takes ALIVE’s focus on connectivity to a new level. The HUB will empower Black creatives to connect and collaborate in a networking space, advancing how creators innovate their platforms.

“We’re beyond excited to maintain the daily facilitation of the group that we truly believe will spark innovative conversations and inspirational outcomes for Black creators looking to advance their podcasting footprint,” said Angel N. Livas, Founder and CEO of the ALIVE Podcast Network.

The platform also aims to increase its reach for Black creatives and empower more content creators by providing them a platform to share their stories.

Riverside.FM will also allow its subscribers to join the Facebook group that will go live on July 24.

“We at Riverside.FM are committed to cultivating an empowering community for Black creators and creators of color to share information, spark inspiration and foster their personal growth,” said Kendall Breitman, Community Manager for Riverside. FM.

“We hope this community can help create a space for Black creators in the industry to connect, collaborate, innovate, grow, and thrive together.”
