Signup Looking to put together a virtual networking event for Managed Service Providers and MSSP companies specifically but also tech companies also. I think we are all doing some of the same things and can do better if we collaborate. I know this scares some of us but why not give it a try.
I want to try to make it more purpose driven and goal-oriented vs just a meet and greet. We would do this in 4 meetings with the first being to outline the goals of what is needed by each company. Documentation, processes and procedures, marketing best practices, customer agreements, forms pricing services etc. Hoping to share documents I have and others have to build a repository of documents we can all pull from and modify to our needs. We can host them here or if there is any aspiring app/web developers we could provide some funds to build a repo or just use git. Let them add it to their portfolio or whatever.
Meeting 1 -Identify what each person, business team needs and assign this to those who have it or have time to assist with getting it.
Meeting 2 -Review and collaborate on everything we gathered from the assignments during meeting 1 and dedicate a working space for this content. We would have a board of 10 Admins or however many we think are needed to ensure access is only provided to verified members no spam or hidden users.
Meeting 3– Website/Business Presence review. We can peer review each other’s sites, business, etc. Some of the vets can help with this. I have found a lot of us in this group and others have the “I can offer everything” and its costing more money than providing. When you put a dollar on your time you will see its best to have a few specialties that pay vs the dollar store approach. Quality of service over Quantity of offerings. Niche or Die is what a business partner once told me.
Meeting 4- Recap, recover, reassess.
