Black Founder Launches Electric Vehicle Delivery App, Exceeder, To Fuel The Green Revolution

Published:

An Atlanta-area Black-owned tech company founded by Derek Bailey hopes to change the delivery industry with the Exceeder app.

Atlanta’s All-Electric Vehicle Delivery Service

Exceeder is an all-electric vehicle delivery service offering sustainable electric SUVs, pickup trucks, and scooters for rent.

At the heart of its innovation is the Proteus Generator, a patented gas-to-electric-circulation generator that transforms fuel into low-carbon electricity, redefining recharging for electric vehicles.

“The Proteus generator basically puts the power plant onboard the vehicle, eliminating the need to plug into an external power source,” Bailey told Digital Issue.

“Imagine it as having a Tesla charging station on board the vehicle. Proteus detects when the vehicle’s batteries drop below 45 percent, and automatically switches itself on and begins recharging.”

The goal is to reduce the amount of energy wasted in electricity generation (conservation) while supplementing the electric grid.

Bailey has made Atlanta his tech company’s home for two years, telling Fox Atlanta he chose the city because it’s one of the country’s best for Black entrepreneurs.

The Exceeder App – “Uber” for EV Deliveries

On December 3rd, Bailey announced on Instagram the launch of the Exceeder community app for supporters and investors.

With three different kinds of electric vehicles available, Bailey hopes to establish his new app as an “Uber” with an array of electric cars.

He’s specifically marketing his product to Doordashers and delivery drivers.

“We think it’s a very easy, effortless way to start to reduce your carbon footprint by simply going to the Exceeder EV app and choosing an electric vehicle to deliver your slice of pizza instead of using the current gas system,” Bailey said.

Bailey said he’s not just in the car business, he’s into crafting new technology and just so happens to be working on cars.

He said he will have more big tech to announce in the near future.
