XA Africa Launches To Connect Founders With International Investors

Published:

Southeast Asian investment network XA Network has expanded to the African continent with the launch of XA Africa.

XA Africa aims to connect local founders with international investors, offering both capital and mentorship to help scale their ventures globally.

Co-founded by Nitin Gajria, former Managing Director of Google Sub-Saharan Africa, Black Angel Group Co-Founder Jason Scott, and YouTube marketing director Marek Dawidowicz, XA Africa brings a wealth of experience to the continent’s entrepreneurial landscape.

Their mission is to equip African startups with the resources and expertise needed to solve critical challenges and seize emerging opportunities.

A New Bridge Between Africa and Southeast Asia

XA Africa’s entry into the African market signals more than just an investment opportunity. It represents a strategic link between Africa’s burgeoning tech scene and Southeast Asia’s thriving ecosystems.

The organization’s co-founders see this as a “natural progression,” allowing African entrepreneurs to benefit from the experience of global tech leaders.

“Founders of technology startups in Africa are uniquely placed to solve some of Africa’s most profound challenges,” Gajria noted in a press release. “We believe XA Africa can connect these exceptional founders with experienced operators from the global tech industry.”

Strategic Investments and Future Growth

The network has already made significant investments in African startups, including Crop2Cash (Nigeria), BuuPass (Kenya), Kaya (South Africa), and Talamus Health (Ghana).

These startups span various sectors such as agriculture, health tech, and transportation, with each receiving financial backing and mentorship to fuel their growth.

XA Africa’s launch marks a critical step in building stronger bridges between African and Southeast Asian tech ecosystems.

The team will host a public Demo Day webinar on November 7, offering Africa-focused investors a closer look at the startups they’re supporting.
