Published:

NBCUniversal and Group Black has launched ExcellencE!, a new content collection on Peacock, bringing thousands of hours of diverse, inclusive programming to the streaming platform.

ExcellencE! – Black-Led And Cross-Cultural Content

This partnership aims to highlight Black-led and cross-cultural content, making it a key destination for multicultural stories.

Subscribers can now access ExcellencE!, which includes popular shows like Bel-Air, Martin, and The Real Housewives of Atlanta. NBCUniversal plans to expand the offering with additional original content in 2025.

This launch is part of a broader initiative, expanding on the 2023 Black Excellence 365 program, which saw more than 30 brands join in support of diverse content year-round.

“NBCUniversal’s deep library of inclusive programming is the perfect launching pad for the ExcellencE! Collection,” Val Boreland, Executive Vice President of Content Acquisitions at NBCU said.

“Together with Group Black, we are enabling audiences to explore cultural conversations through storytelling.”

Expanding Representation on Peacock

ExcellencE! embodies what excellence stands for – a platform where multicultural perspectives can thrive,” said Group Black’s Chief Growth Office, Cavel Khan.

With its growing library of culturally relevant programming, ExcellencE! offers a rich selection of content that resonates with NBCUniversal’s cross-cultural audience, providing brands with new opportunities to connect with diverse viewers.

As NBCUniversal and Group Black continue their partnership, they have already set their sights on expanding ExcellencE!

The inclusion of original content, planned for release in 2025, demonstrates their long-term commitment to diverse representation in media.
