Chaymeriyia Moncrief, an Alabama native, has made a mark in the tech industry as the first Black woman to own a smart glasses brand.

Two years after founding Tesix Wireless Network, a millennial-focused wireless carrier., Moncrief launched NSPRE to ”inspire the culture through social technology“.
From its inception in 2020, the brand swiftly progressed, raising $1.5 million in funding during its launch year.
In June 2021, NSPRE established its headquarters in Alabama, reinforcing its foundation.
NSPRE’s flagship product, the Smart Glasses, aims to represent a leap into the future of wearable technology.
The Smart Glasses
The introduction of Smart Glasses in June 2020 marked a pivotal moment for NSPRE, paving the way for further innovations like the NX Pro Plus LE.
The smart glasses have two-way mics allowing phone and video calls, with in-directional sound that allows for sound privacy.
Wearers can control their music, answer and reject phone calls directly from the glass legs, and add their prescription into lenses.
With Gen 1 and Gen 2 smart glasses available, they vary with a playback time of seven hours and 12 hours.
NSPRE’s trajectory continued to soar, securing an additional $450,000 in funding by December 2021.
The year 2022 was pivotal with the launch of the Solace Smart Glasses and the design of the innovative Sophomore Smartphone.
