According to a 2021 Pew Research Center study, only 8% of tech workers are Hispanic or Latine despite making up 18.7% of the US population.
The percentage is even smaller for women, with Hispanic or Latina women only holding 1% of tech roles.
We recently rounded up communities and organizations for Latine tech professionals; here’s an updated list of available resources.
Resources For Tech Professionals
1. Techqueria
Techqueria, a nonprofit founded in 2015, serves tech’s most extensive global community of Latinx professionals, with over 18,000 members and allies.
They work with tech companies and employee resource groups to build Latinx-centered spaces around career advice, recruiting, mentorship, and networking.
2. Latina Tech Mentor Program
The Latina Tech Mentor Program is based on a one-on-one mentorship model where Spanish-speaking volunteers train to support parents in creating learning goals.
The aim is to increase comfort levels with digital literacy and integrate technology into family life.
3. Latinas In STEM
Latinas in STEM offers several programs, including K-12 Student and Parent Outreach, College Student Support, and Professional Development programs.
4. Amplify Latinx
The Amplify Latinx network unites Latinx leaders, professionals, and organizations to drive transformational change in the community.
5. ALPHA
ALPFA offers professional development and career-building opportunities to Latino students and professionals at all levels.
6. Hispanic Pro
Hispanic Pro promotes business networking and employment opportunities for diverse Hispanic professionals.
7. Latinas In Tech
Latinas in Tech is a nonprofit organization that connects, supports, and empowers Latina women working in tech.
8. SHPE
SHPE (Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers) has supported Hispanics in STEM for nearly 50 years and is the nation’s largest association dedicated to fostering Hispanic leadership in the STEM field.
9. Latino Professionals
Latino Professionals is the preeminent member organization for developing global Latino leaders. Their mission is to increase the number of successful Latino executives by adding value to their personal and professional development.
10. Latinxs Who Design
Latinxs Who Design is a living directory of thriving Latinxs in the design industry. Their mission is to provide a space to find outstanding people to follow, look for a mentor, make new friends, or discover talented individuals to join teams.

TECHNOLOchicas raises awareness among young Latinas and their families about opportunities and careers in technology.
12. Latino Business Action Network (LBAN)
